Connect your coding agent to Straddle documentation and API tools with the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Straddle provides two hosted servers: Docs MCP for documentation search and API MCP for operation discovery and requests.

Choose a connection

Use the server that matches your task: The Straddle plugin connects both servers and adds integration skills. To configure MCP directly, follow Connect MCP.

Work with the API

API MCP exposes the following tools: Specification discovery works separately from authenticated API execution. A successful summary proves the connection can read the contract. A successful API request proves access to that operation with the configured key. API MCP can run reads and writes permitted by your key. Choose the environment and account for each task, and review requests through your client’s approval controls. See Authentication and permissions.
