Use Docs MCP to find Straddle guides and API reference material while you work in your coding agent. Documentation search needs no API key.

Connect Docs MCP

Install the Straddle plugin, or add only straddle-docs with the direct connection instructions. The server address is:

Ask a focused question

Include the resource, integration model, and behavior you need to understand. Ask the agent to cite the documentation it used.

Find SaaS account-scope guidance.

The agent uses search-documentation with your question. A useful answer names the applicable rule and provides a source you can open.

Apply the result

1

Read the source

Open the linked guide or API reference. Confirm that it covers your integration model and the operation you plan to use.
2

Check the installed SDK

For a code change, have the agent read your installed SDK’s methods and models before writing the implementation. Documentation explains the flow; the installed package determines the code available in your project.
3

Verify the implementation

Run your application tests and the sandbox scenarios in your integration plan. Use Straddle Test to record the results.

Ask about an error

Give the agent the error code and relevant operation, with secrets and personal data removed:

Find guidance for an authentication error.

To inspect a resource in your Straddle account, use API MCP.

Read documentation without MCP

Give your agent the documentation index to find pages directly. This is also useful when your client has no MCP support.
