# Payment operations playbooks

> Investigate payment activity, funding, identity reviews, and paykeys with repeatable workflows.

Choose a playbook for the question you need to answer. Each workflow identifies the records to collect, explains the result, and gives you a next step for the investigation.

The workflows use the Straddle CLI to refresh local records and inspect current API details when needed. Start with [CLI installation](/developer-tools/cli/install) and [credentials and account context](/developer-tools/cli/auth-context).

## Choose a workflow

## Work from a consistent set of records

Each playbook begins by confirming the environment and acting account, then refreshing the resources it needs. Keep that context and the same local database throughout the workflow. See [local data](/developer-tools/cli/local-data) for synchronization and storage details.

Before acting on a record, retrieve its current API details as shown in the playbook. Record the relevant IDs, account, environment, and refresh time with your findings so another person can continue the investigation.
