# Wizard commands

> Run an integration, continue saved work, or select a focused Straddle skill.

Run the Wizard from your application repository. Add a command after the package name to select a task:

```bash theme={null}
npx @straddlecom/wizard@latest plan
```

## Build and review

The following commands run the complete program or one skill.

| Command | Result |
| - | - |
| No command | Guided Setup, Plan, Integrate, Test, and Go Live readiness, with Migrate after Plan when another provider is detected. |
| `setup` | Project and tool readiness report in `straddle-setup.md`. |
| `get-started` | Guidance on the product, integration model, SDK, and documentation for your project. |
| `plan` | Integration plan in `straddle-integration-plan.md`. |
| `integrate` | Implementation of the approved plan and an integration report. |
| `test` | Verification of the integration and `straddle-test-evidence.md`. |
| `migrate` | A plan and implementation that add Straddle beside an existing payment provider. |
| `go-live` | Production readiness review in `straddle-go-live-report.md`. |
| `audit` | Review of an existing integration with findings in `straddle-audit-report.md`. |

Choose the [skill catalog](/developer-tools/skills/catalog) for each workflow's prerequisites and outputs. Sandbox requests in Integrate and Test use the configured sandbox key and the skill's request previews and approvals.

## Continue and inspect

Use the following commands for saved work.

| Command | Result |
| - | - |
| `resume` | Continue at the first unfinished step from the plan and reports. |
| `status` | Show the local bundle, client, plugin, MCP configuration, key presence, environment, and saved run. |
| `status --json` | Return the status report as JSON, including `run` and `configurationErrors`. |
| `log` | Write and open a local HTML view of recorded session events and available transcripts. |
| `skill list` | List the selected bundle's skills and versions. It can prompt to download a plugin release. |
| `skill run SKILL_NAME` | Run one named workflow skill. Use a name from `skill list`, such as `straddle-plan`. |

`status` reads local state. Check the setup or test report's authenticated-read result when you need evidence that your API key works.

## Manage the plugin and MCP connections

Select a client explicitly for configuration commands:

```bash theme={null}
npx @straddlecom/wizard@latest install --client codex
```

The following commands show the proposed client configuration changes before running them.

| Command | Result |
| - | - |
| `install` | Load the Straddle plugin through the client's installation path. |
| `update` | Update the plugin to the release selected by the Wizard. |
| `remove` | Remove the Straddle plugin and its marketplace entry. |
| `mcp add` | Configure `straddle-api` and `straddle-docs` as needed for the client. |
| `mcp remove` | Show or run the client's removal steps for the Straddle MCP connections. |

Cursor configuration commands print steps to complete in the client. Follow [plugin installation](/developer-tools/agent-plugin/install) for client-specific details.

## Options

Use the following options to select the project, client, or output.

| Option | Use |
| - | - |
| `--dir PATH` | Work in the selected repository. Defaults to the current directory. |
| `--client claude\|codex\|cursor` | Select the coding agent. |
| `--mode auto\|manual` | Start the agent from the Wizard or receive a message to paste into your own session. Also changes the mode on `resume`. |
| `--exclude GLOB` | Add a sensitive path to the Wizard's exclusions. Repeat for more paths. |
| `--json` | Return JSON from `status` or `skill list`. |
| `--yes` | Accept plugin downloads and installation, update, removal, or MCP configuration commands. Sandbox write approval remains part of the skill workflow. |
| `--help` | Print command help. |
| `--version` | Print the Wizard version. |

<Accordion title="Use a local skills bundle for testing">
  Pass `--bundle PATH` to use a local Straddle skills directory. The Wizard labels it as a local bundle and checks that it has a compatible plugin structure. Use this option when testing changes to skills.
