# Use Straddle skills

> Run a guided integration or invoke a focused skill in your coding agent.

Run the Straddle Wizard for a complete integration, or name a skill directly when you need one stage.

## Before you start

[Install the Straddle plugin](/developer-tools/agent-plugin/install), open your application directory, and make your sandbox API key available to the coding client. Select the sandbox environment explicitly for integration work.

The skills use your repository, installed SDK, and choices to define the integration. Have your integration model and, for a platform, the account you want to act for ready.

## Run a guided integration

Start the Wizard from your application directory:

```bash theme={null}
export STRADDLE_ENVIRONMENT=sandbox
npx @straddlecom/wizard@latest
```

The Wizard runs Setup, Plan, Integrate, Test, and Go Live readiness. It adds Migrate after Plan when your application uses another payment provider. Choose **Auto** to run the coding agent from your terminal, or **Manual** to receive a message for your own agent session.

Follow [Build your first integration](/developer-tools/quickstart) for the plan review, sandbox approvals, and test evidence at each stage.

To continue an interrupted program, run:

```bash theme={null}
npx @straddlecom/wizard@latest resume
```

The Wizard resumes from the files the skills wrote. See [Run and resume an integration](/developer-tools/wizard/integrate) for the complete workflow.

## Invoke one skill

Choose a name from the [skill catalog](/developer-tools/skills/catalog). For example, start a planning session:

<Tabs>
  <Tab title="Claude Code">
    Enter the plugin's skill command in your project session:

    ```text theme={null}
    /straddle:straddle-plan
    ```
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Codex">
    Ask Codex to use the installed skill:

    <Prompt description="Plan a Straddle integration." actions={["copy"]}>
      Use the straddle-plan skill to plan a Straddle integration in this repository.
    </Prompt>
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Cursor">
    Ask Cursor to use the installed skill:

    <Prompt description="Plan a Straddle integration." actions={["copy"]}>
      Use the straddle-plan skill to plan a Straddle integration in this repository.
    </Prompt>
  </Tab>

  <Tab title="Wizard">
    Run the skill through the Wizard:

    ```bash theme={null}
    npx @straddlecom/wizard@latest skill run straddle-plan
    ```
  </Tab>
</Tabs>

## Continue from the result

Keep the plan and reports in the application repository. They carry decisions and evidence between stages.

When Test reports a failure, ask Integrate to address it, then run Test again. When you need to diagnose code that already exists, run Audit and review its findings before approving fixes.
