# Choose a Straddle skill

> Find the skill and output for your integration task.

Choose a skill by the result you need. The released Straddle plugin v0.1.2 includes eight task skills and one shared best-practices skill.

## Task skills

Use the following names when asking your agent to run a skill:

| Skill | Use it to | Result |
| - | - | - |
| `straddle-get-started` | Choose the product, integration model, SDK, and documentation for your repository. | Orientation and a recommended next skill. |
| `straddle-setup` | Check your repository, CLI, SDK, environment, and MCP connections. | `straddle-setup.md` with readiness findings. |
| `straddle-plan` | Define files, SDK methods, account rules, notifications, and tests before implementation. | `straddle-integration-plan.md` for your approval. |
| `straddle-integrate` | Implement the approved plan and run approved sandbox setup. | Code changes and `straddle-integration-report.md`. |
| `straddle-migrate` | Add Straddle code beside an existing provider integration. | `straddle-migration-plan.md`, approved code changes, and `straddle-migration-report.md`. |
| `straddle-test` | Verify the finished integration against its approved integration or migration plan. | `straddle-test-evidence.md`. |
| `straddle-go-live` | Review code, sandbox evidence, and operational setup for production readiness. | `straddle-go-live-report.md`. |
| `straddle-audit` | Investigate an integration failure or review existing Straddle code. | `straddle-audit-report.md` with findings, evidence, and recovery steps. |

Setup reports missing dependencies and configuration so you can resolve them. Integrate builds from an approved plan. Test records failures for follow-up through Integrate, and Audit changes code only after you approve a specific finding.

## Shared guidance

`straddle-best-practices` supplies the product, account-scope, credential, SDK, and request rules used by the task skills. It also answers Straddle behavior questions. For a workflow that runs API operations, choose Integrate or Test.

## Add Straddle beside another provider

Migrate includes guidance for Stripe, Plaid, Moov, Modern Treasury, Dwolla, Paya, Payliance, and other payment or bank-linking providers. It inspects the existing integration and asks which provider roles you want Straddle to handle.

Review its migration plan before approving code changes. The existing provider path stays in place behind the switch you choose. Customer-data transfer and traffic cutover need their own plan.
