# Choose your tools

> Choose a guided integration, an agent skill, API tools, or a payment playbook.

Start with the [Straddle Wizard](/developer-tools/quickstart) to build and test an integration with your coding agent. For a specific job, choose the tool that fits the result you need.

## Choose by task

The following tools support integration work and payment operations.

| You want to | Use | What you get |
| - | - | - |
| Build your first Straddle integration | [Wizard](/developer-tools/quickstart) | A guided plan, implementation, sandbox tests, and readiness review. |
| Add Straddle skills to your coding agent | [Straddle plugin](/developer-tools/agent-plugin/install) | Integration instructions and connections to Docs MCP and API MCP. |
| Plan, migrate, test, or review an integration | [Skills](/developer-tools/skills/catalog) | A focused workflow with a plan or report in your repository. |
| Find a guide or API explanation from your agent | [Docs MCP](/developer-tools/mcp/docs-search) | Documentation search. |
| Discover an API operation and send a request | [API MCP](/developer-tools/mcp/api-requests) | Operation details and requests authenticated with your API key. |
| Call the API or automate terminal work | [Straddle CLI](/developer-tools/cli/overview) | Commands, JSON output, and local payment data. |
| Call Straddle from application code | [SDKs](/developer-tools/sdks) | A client library for your application language. |
| Investigate payments, returns, or funding | [Playbooks](/playbooks/overview) | A task walkthrough with commands and guidance for interpreting results. |

API MCP supports requests allowed by your API key, including writes. Review the [authentication and permissions](/developer-tools/mcp/safety) before sending requests.

## Put the tools to work

The Wizard coordinates the integration steps in your coding agent. The plugin supplies skills, and the skills use documentation, API tools, and your application code to carry out each step. Your application calls Straddle through an SDK or the HTTP API.

Once payments are running, use the CLI and playbooks to investigate individual records or analyze synchronized data.
